Guangdong times food and life health research institute, jointly built by Huangpu District Science and Technology Bureau of Guangzhou and Guangdong times food and life health research Co., Ltd., covers an area of about 300 square meters. It mainly carries out the project research of "anti-aging and prevention of chronic diseases function", functional food development and food functional evaluation. The laboratory is divided into cell room, precision instrument room and comprehensive laboratory Laboratory and microbiology laboratory.
Cell room is used to screen natural active factors and study the anti-tumor activity of products, and determine the anti-oxidation activity (CAA) of products and raw material cells. At present, our company has screened the anti-oxidation active factors of hundreds of medicinal and edible homologous plants and fruits and vegetables, and found that blueberry, apple peel, grape and cranberry have the highest anti-oxidation activity.
High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and multi-functional enzyme labeling instrument are included in the precision instrument room, which are mainly used to detect the molecular weight and content of anthocyanins, flavonoids, polypeptides and polysaccharides.
The comprehensive laboratory mainly carries out the analysis and determination of the content of functional components and the stability of product shelf life to ensure the quality of products. At present, our products include peptide protein powder, Buxue Butie oral liquid, collagen oral liquid, vitamin and mineral health food, excellent bacteria transplantation and other products.
At present, microbiology laboratory mainly carries out the cultivation and detection of the activity of lactic acid bacteria and the live counting of products.
The laboratory team is led by academician Liu Ruihai, tenured professor of food and Nutrition Department of Cornell University in the United States, and composed of master's and doctor's teams led by Professor level of School of light industry and food of South China University of technology. Guangdong times Institute of food, life and health has complete laboratory equipment, which can meet the needs of the smooth progress of various researches. At present, it has undertaken research projects in major universities.
